St Helier Community Peace Garden is Open

A Place to Reflect
Tucked away in the beautiful green valley of Vallée des Vaux, the Community Peace Garden is now open as one of St Helier’s most special spaces. In a world that can often feel busy and divided, the Peace Garden provides a reminder that peace begins in our everyday lives. It is a space where people can pause, reflect and reconnect, not only with nature but with the values that unite us as a community.
Created by the Community, for the Community
The Peace Garden is the result of many years of commitment and care from local volunteers who have transformed and nurtured the space. Led by Tony and a dedicated team of volunteers, the group has worked tirelessly to develop and maintain the garden, helping it become an important community asset and a cherished part of the Vallée des Vaux landscape.
Volunteers continue to plant, maintain pathways, care for wildlife-friendly areas and ensure that the garden remains an inviting place throughout the year. Their work demonstrates how collective effort and community spirit can create something lasting and meaningful for future generations.
The Parish of St Helier is proud to support the garden and recognises the enormous contribution made by everyone involved in its upkeep and development.
