The Parish of St Helier is responsible for cleaning roads and pavements within the ring road and the street cleansing team operates 7 days a week. The Government’s Department for Infrastructure cleans the roads outside the Parish ring road.

Fly-Tipping

It is an offence to dispose of any waste in unauthorised areas and, if prosecuted, you could be liable for a fine of up to £500. If the fly tipping results in pollution, you could be subject to an unlimited fine and up to two years imprisonment.

The public can report fly-tipping by calling the Department for Infrastructure’s Waste Regulation Team on 01534 441600 or by using the Love Jersey app.
