Hustings

Hustings are public meetings where election candidates answer questions directly from voters.

They give voters the chance to:

  • Hear each candidate’s priorities
  • Compare their views side-by-side
  • Better understand each candidate’s views
  • See how candidates act under pressure
  • Find out how well candidates understand key topics and how they would tackle challenges or difficult issues

All hustings are FREE to attend and open to everyone. Candidate-organised Hustings are filmed and made available on the Vote.je YouTube channel for playback.
