New Parish Rate agreed

Last Wednesday, 15th July, the Annual Report and Accounts for 2025/26 and the Business Plan and Estimates for 2026/27 were presented to the Parish Rates Assembly.
A new Parish Rate of 1.37p was agreed, representing an increase of 1.48% being well below the cost of living.
The Parish Rate goes towards:
- Day-to-day operating expenses
- Road improvements and maintenance
- Parish buildings and vehicles
- Special projects deemed necessary by the Constable and Procureurs
In 2026/27 the Parish Rate will represent 47% of the Parish’s income, and will go towards delivering the following:
