St Helier presents £35,000 to four Parish charities

At a Vin d’Honneur held on 21st February the Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, presented three charitable grants of £10,000 to Brighter Futures, Jersey Cheshire Home and Age Concern, plus one grant of £5,000 to Family Nursing & Home Care.

The grants were awarded by the Constable and Procureurs from the Parish’s Charitable Donations Fund.

Awards are made once every financial year and any charitable organisation wishing to apply for next year should do so via the Town Hall after 1st May.

Mr Crowcroft said: “I am pleased to award each of these charities that do such vital work in the Parish a charitable grant. It is a difficult time for charities as we are all impacted by the rising cost of living, and we must therefore do our part as a Parish to support them.”
