St Helier makes good progress improving the roads network

Members of the St Helier Roads Committee have visited the newly resurfaced Cleveland Road at Havre des Pas, which comes as works are also completed on Peter Street and Seale Street.

Works now continue to resurface and improve Halkett Street, road safety improvements are being made at Vallée des Vaux, and drainage works are due to be carried out at Fern Valley.

The Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, said: “I’m really pleased that the Parish has been able to carry out these improvements. I’d like to thank Islanders for their patience during the works, and their ongoing patience during the works still to be completed. Many of the works being carried out are happening as a direct response to concerns raised by parishioners, and I’d like to thank the St Helier Rates Assembly for supporting these projects.”
