Pomona Road Neighbourhood Improvement Area works begin
Works on the first Neighbourhood Improvement Area Scheme are scheduled to begin on 3rd February and are expected to be completed by 25th April.
The project will be divided into two phases:
To facilitate the works and ensure the safety of both workers and road users, a diversion plan has been designed. The diversion routes have been carefully planned to minimise disruption and will be clearly signposted throughout the duration of the project.
Phase One: 6 weeks 3 days -details are displayed below. There will be a small diversion whilst the works are being carried out to give the residents access to Pomona Lane. Diversion starts by heading up to the roundabout, heading down Great Union Road, through Journeaux Street and up Aquila Road.
Phase Two: 5 weeks – details are displayed below. There is a diversion onto Great Union road and then back down Pomona Road. This will make Pomona Lane a temporary reverse flow whilst the work is being undertaken.
Properties will be accessible throughout the project; however at times it may not be deemed safe to allow access and residents will need to find alternative resident’s parking elsewhere within the St Thomas’ Zone.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. Please rest assured that every effort will be made to complete the works efficiently and to minimise any inconvenience to residents. Working hours will be limited to 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and noise levels will be kept to a minimum where possible.
If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. We will also provide updates on the progress of the project and any changes to the schedule.
