Expressions of interest invited for St Ewolds scaffolding works
The Parish of St Helier is inviting suitably experienced scaffolding contractors to register an interest in tendering for scaffolding works associated with the replacement of windows and external doors at St Ewolds Residential Care Home.
The anticipated works at the premises on Balmoral Drive, St Helier, include the design, supply, phased erection, sectional handover, inspection, maintenance, hire, dismantling, complete removal and reinstatement of a proprietary Cuplock scaffold.
The scaffold will serve an occupied residential care home and Government of Jersey Samares Ward. Applicants should therefore be able to demonstrate appropriate competence, resources and relevant experience, particularly in occupied care, healthcare, residential or similarly sensitive operational premises.
The anticipated scaffold period is approximately six months, including phased erection, use during the window-replacement works and phased dismantling. The final programme and detailed requirements will be included in the tender documents.
Registering an interest
Contractors wishing to be considered should email [email protected] by 5 November 2026, providing:
- The organisation’s full legal and trading name.
- Its registered address.
- The name, email address and telephone number of the principal contact.
- A brief summary of relevant scaffolding and Cuplock experience.
- Confirmation that the organisation wishes to receive the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
Pre-qualification stage
Following registration, the Parish will issue a protected, fillable Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
Completed PQQ submissions and supporting evidence must be returned by email to [email protected] no later than 5pm on 16 November 2026.
Tender stage
Organisations that successfully meet the pre-qualification requirements will be invited to tender and will receive the full tender package, including the specification, pricing schedule, Form of Tender and marked-up drawings.
Submission of an expression of interest or PQQ does not guarantee inclusion on the tender list or the award of a contract. Late expressions of interest or PQQ submissions may not be considered.
