Fête de la Musique

As part of La Saison Française, ArtHouse Jersey, Alliance Française, Jersey Opera House and Maison de Normandie are partnering to organise the very first ‘Fête de la Musique’ in Jersey on 22 June. With more than 50 musicians from Normandy and Jersey playing all day on King Street and Royal Square in St Helier, this music day promises to be festive!

Created in 1982, Music Day is set on a unique and symbolic date: June 21st, the day of the summer solstice. Free event, open to all musicians, amateurs & professionals alike, it aims to celebrate all genres of music and give access to music to all audiences.

It’s time for Jersey to take part in this wonderful celebration happening every year in more than 120 countries! ArtHouse Jersey, Alliance Française, Jersey Opera House and Maison de Normandie are working together to bring us closer to our French neighbours and build on such a great tradition of celebrating music together in Jersey. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the streets of St Helier on Saturday 22 June and enjoy the music brought to you by Jersey and Norman musicians!
