Bastille Day

Mark your calendars for July 13th as we gather on the historic Royal Square to commemorate Bastille Day in true French style. Transforming the Square into a bustling French village, complete with Norman market stalls, traditional delicacies and an array of live performances, we’ll transport you to the heart of France without ever leaving Jersey!

ArtHouse Jersey, Alliance Française, Jersey Opera House and Maison de Normandie are working together to bring us closer to our French neighbours as a ‘warm-up’ to the Paris Olympics. As part of la Saison Française, the Bastille Day celebrations on Saturday 13th July are more than just a celebration, they are a testament to the enduring friendship and shared history between our Island and France. Join us on the Royal Square as we raise our voices in song and savour the flavour of France for a wonderfully entertaining day! To make it last longer and celebrate on the French National Day, we may bring a nice musical surprise on Sunday 14th July.
