EYECAN: Dining in the Dark

Join us as we celebrate 140 years of EYECAN with an immersive Dining in the Dark experience that challenges your senses and opens your eyes to life with visual impairment. For tickets, please click here.

 What to expect:
 7pm- Arrival & Welcome – Explore our mini historical exhibition, mingle with fellow guests, and collect your EYECAN goody bag.
 Mask On – Our trained team will help you secure your eye mask.
 Guided Seating – Experience being guided to your table by our incredible volunteers.
 Three‑Course Mystery Meal – Enjoy a delicious dinner without sight, supported by volunteers and hotel staff as you discover the challenges many face daily.
 The Reveal – After dessert, remove your mask and over coffee reflect on the experience… and guess what you ate!
 Live Performance – Be moved by a specially written piece performed by Dave Steele, The Blind Poet.
 Blind Auction – Put your mask back on and bid on artwork created by EYECAN clients—guided only by the artist’s audio descriptions.
 Closing Entertainment – Finish the night with music from DJ Nelson.
