Sale of St Helier House temporarily on hold

The Parish of St Helier has temporarily put the proposed sale of St Helier House on hold.

The sale, due to be voted on at Parish Assembly on Wednesday 25th September, has been removed from the agenda as the prospective buyer has withdrawn from the process.

Hopefully, new proposals will be brought to a Parish Assembly before the end of 2024.

The Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, said: “Following an independently managed tender process, the Parish’s Procureurs du Bien Public and I selected a preferred purchaser for St Helier House, but regrettably this bid has now been withdrawn and therefore can no longer be considered at next week’s Parish Assembly.”
