Storm Ciarán – Parish Update 1230 31/10/2023
On the evening of Wednesday 1st November and the daytime on Thursday 2nd November, Storm Ciarán is expected to hit the Island.
As we await a full update from the Government of Jersey we would like to advise parishioners to be very cautious during this time.
Parishioners should allow extra time for any journeys that are required to be taken.
If you have any appointments, please check that these appointments are still needed or whether they are able to rescheduled.
If you have any vulnerable neighbours or relatives we would recommend checking in on them to ensure that they are ok and have everything they need.
If you are driving around the Parish and notice any trees fallen or debris obstructing the road, we would recommend that you contact the Government of Jersey on 725351, States of Jersey Police on 612612, option 2 and 4, or the St Helier Duty Centenier on 07829-722227.
Should there be an emergency or an immediate threat to life please call 999.
Homeowners are recommended to secure all outdoor loose items such as chairs, tables and other items.
