Changes to kerbside recycling scheme
28 November 2023
Following a review of the Parish’s recycling operations the kerbside recycling scheme will return to a two-bag system (1 x clear bag and 1 x blue bag) with effect from 1 December 2023.
Both types of bags will continue to be available from the usual outlets. You can still use the old clear recycling bags but only for metal and plastic.
What impact will this have on your recycling?
- Fortnightly collections will remain the same
- Clear bags will be used to recycle light card, paper, magazines and envelopes
- Blue bags will be used to recycle steel tins, aluminium cans and plastic bottles
