Centenier Election cancelled in St Helier

In accordance with Article 23 of the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, one of the candidates has withdrawn from the election for Centeniers in the Parish of St Helier, and in the circumstances of there being two remaining candidates for two vacancies, the Royal Court ordered [this morning 08/12/23] that the two remaining candidates be declared elected to office, to be sworn-in on 15 December 2023.

Accordingly, the poll scheduled for 13^th December at the Town Hall will no longer take place.
