The Parish of St Helier has an extensive collection of beautifully landscaped parks and gardens for public use.

Dogs are welcome in the St Helier parks and gardens, but they must be kept on a lead at all times and dog mess must be disposed of properly. Please note that one person cannot walk more than four dogs in the parks at any one time.

Fitness operators may use the parks to run fitness training/sessions. Permission is not required for groups of less than two paying customers. For larger groups, please get in touch by emailing [email protected]. Fitness operators must abide by the Code of Conduct for Outdoor Fitness Training. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with this document.

The Parish of St Helier’s parks and gardens offer great spaces to hold events of all sizes and some of the largest Island events, including the Battle of Flowers Fun Fair, Electric Park and the Battle of Britain, are held in St Helier’s parks.

Parade Gardens is a formal garden with raised wall beds throughout bringing some beautiful colour to the center of St Helier.FACILITIES: Toilets, children’s play area, bench seating, café, open grass space.OPENING HOURS: 24/7PARKING: On street parking is available and both Sand Street and Patriotic Street multi story carparks are nearby.

Lower Park boasts large landscaped green areas and is a popular park with dog walkers.FACILITIES: Seating and open grass space.OPENING HOURS: 24/7PARKING: Parking available opposite in the laybys on Victoria Avenue.

People’s Park is a large open green space popular with fitness instructors and event organisers.FACILITIES: Bench seating, open grass space, children’s play park and fitness apparatus.OPENING HOURS: 24/7PARKING: A small car park is attached to the park and Patriotic Street multi story car park is nearby.

Westmount is an informal wooded area perfect for walking and has an array of native flora and fauna as well as breathtaking views across the bay.FACILITIES: Nature walks.OPENING HOURS: 24/7PARKING: The closest parking available is at People’s Park at the bottom of Westmount hill.

La Collette Gardens is a Mediterranean- feel terraced garden with stunning views across the bay sloping down to join the cycle path which joins Havre des Pas and the town centre.FACILITIES: Toilets, café and bench seating.OPENING HOURS: 24/7PARKING: Limited on street parking available at Mount Bingham and Pier Road multi story car park is nearby.
