Neighbourhood Improvement Area works

Works are now progressing with the final stage of the Poonah / Pomona Road NIA.

This phase involves the installation of a coloured surface treatment (Roxem) at key junctions along the roads. These works are currently planned to take place between 8 June and 28 June.

The works will be carried out on a phased basis, with individual junctions treated at different times, rather than all at once. Once applied, the material requires approximately three days to cure, during which time the affected section of road will need to be closed to all traffic.

During these closures, access will be restricted; however, we will maintain access to properties wherever reasonably possible. To help facilitate this, some sections of the surrounding road network may be temporarily changed from one-way to two-way operation.

A schedule of the planned works, including the locations and dates for each junction, is provided below for your reference. Please note the programme is subject to change. Project updates will be published when required. Appropriate traffic management and diversions will be in place for the duration of the planned work.

We appreciate that this may cause some disruption and apologise for any inconvenience. Your cooperation and understanding during this final stage of the project are greatly appreciated as we work to complete the scheme.
