Meet the new St Helier Ambassadors

Following the Parish of St Helier’s annual Ambassadors Competition held last Thursday, the Parish is delighted to announce new Senior and Junior Ambassadors.

St Helier’s Senior Ambassador is 17-year-old Kay McLachlan. Kay is studying Animal Management at Highlands College and is looking forward to attending all the events and representing the Parish.

And our new Junior Ambassador is 11-year-old Eve Pimblott. Eve goes to D’Auvergne School and is looking forward both to taking part in the Battle of Flowers with her whole family there and also to helping make improvements to her community.

Kay and Eve take over their respective roles from Helen Langlois (Senior) and Scarlett Camacho (Junior), who have become familiar faces to many parishioners at community events over the past two years. Scarlett and Helen have done a fantastic job for the Parish and will be missed by everyone.

The Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft, said: “The St Helier Ambassadors hold an important role within the Parish and one we intend to continue. The Ambassadors are a familiar face for our parishioners at many events throughout the year and they enjoy chatting to them. It is important to have youth representation within the Parish to encourage the next generation to get involved. I am grateful to Helen and Scarlett for their service, and am excited for Kay and Eve to make the roles their own.”
