The St Helier Pilgrimage will take place on Sunday 20th July 2025. Take part in local history and join us as we make our way to the Monastery at Elizabeth Castle for a short service and wreath laying to remember the life of Saint Helier.

Due to the tides, the pilgrimage will be early this year.

  • Meeting at the Town Church at 07:30.
  • Departing at 07:45.
  • Arriving at Elizabeth Castle for 08:30.
  • A short service will take place in the Courtyard, followed by a wreath laying at the Hermitage.
  • Depart at 09:15 from the Hermitage.
  • Bacon rolls served in the Town Church from 10:00.

There will be limited spaces available on the Castle Ferry for those who are unable to walk, leaving the Castle Kiosk at 08:00 and returning at 09:30. To reserve a place, please email [email protected].
