Le French Festival is a biennial cultural and festive event offering an eclectic programme: Norman market, street arts, exhibitions, artistic workshops, conferences, music, theatre, opera, cinema, and more.
Since 2017, Le French Festival’s aim is to promote French and Norman cultural richness and to strengthen the ties between France and the Channel Islands by offering a wide range of high‑quality events.
2027 will be a landmark year for Le French Festival as it will not only celebrate its 10th anniversary but it will also celebrate the Island’s historical and cultural ties with Normandy by taking part in the MILLENNIUM: 2027, European Year of the Normans cultural programme.
Le French Festival 2027, Millennium Edition will unfold in two parts:
- 10-11 July: Medieval Fair at People’s Park with a parade, music, medieval combat display and so much more!
- 14-18 July: Norman‑style French Festival at Royal Square with Bastille Day celebrations, Norman Market, and film screenings
