Commonwealth War Graves visit

Thanks from the Parish go to Rouge Bouillon, Springfield and D’Auvergne Primary Schools for visiting the Commonwealth War Graves at Mont à l’Abbé Old and New Cemeteries, to commemorate remembrance of those who fought in the First and Second World Wars and who are now laid to rest.

Despite the weather conditions, this visit gave the pupils the opportunity to learn and explore the history of the War Graves and place wooden cross poppies on the graves. Working with local schools allows us all to secure the legacy for generations to come.
