On the 22nd November, Soroptimist International Jersey will join its sister clubs worldwide to acknowledge the forthcoming United Nations day commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls.
The colour Orange has been chosen to represent our outrage at the violence being perpetrated, but also to signal our hope and optimism for a brighter and better future.
We will assemble at West’s Centre at 11.30 am on the 22nd and continue to Queen Street and down King Street. Please join us, wear something orange, and show your support for this important campaign.
